Is StudySmart UG really free to use?
Yes, totally free! You don’t need to pay for access, sign up for any subscription, or enter your mobile money number. StudySmart UG was created by a Ugandan student (me 👋🏾) to give all students in Uganda equal access to smart revision tools, even without money. Education should never be locked behind a paywall, and with Smartie, we’re making quality learning accessible for everyone.
Who is this platform for?
StudySmart UG is built mainly for Ugandan secondary school students—both O-Level (S1 to S4) and A-Level (S5 to S6). But it’s also perfect for teachers who want fast, AI-generated quizzes and exam content, and for schools that want to modernize learning. If you’re studying for UNEB, this site is literally designed with YOU in mind
What kind of subjects are supported?
We support key subjects from the UNEB curriculum, including:

It uses powerful AI models (kind of like ChatGPT and Google Gemini) with a local twist. It’s like having a teacher in your pocket—but one that never gets tired or marks you absent 😎.
How do I create mock exams or past papers?
Just head over to the Exam Generator section on the site. You’ll choose:
A subject
Topics to include
Number of questions
Then hit generate, and BOOM 💥—Smartie will build a full exam-style paper in UNEB format. You can view it online, download as a PDF, or print it for practice. It’s perfect for personal revision or teachers setting class work.
